The little butterfly at risk
Habitat destruction, fires, overbuilding, air and water pollution, wholesale use of pesticides, climate changes. These are some of the threats hanging over the Eastern Orange tip and many other butterflies and insect, which are usually poorly respected.
What to do to save Aurora?
- Let people know how much butterflies are important for the maintenance of natural equilibrium in ecosystems.
- Defend biodiversity in all its forms
- Campaign for the establishment of natural protected areas, specifically planned for butterfly conservation.
- Discourage and condemn the use of pesticides, support organic agriculture.
